The WCIT Charity is offering its first ever Charity IT Award to champion the transformative power of IT to help a selected charity to have a bigger impact on people’s lives.
On Monday 17th September the WCIT hosted a special finalists event at Mercers’ Hall that offered the opportunity to give due recognition to these charities who have worked so hard to get to the finals and introduce their technology-based projects to our members.
During the evening the presentations, and a tough Q&A from our members, were live streamed through the WCIT You Tube channel and there was live tweeting throughout on the WCIT Charity Twitter Account - @WCITcharity

The four finalists each gave moving presentations and described how they intend to use technology to transform lives through their projects – exactly what the WCIT Charity is all about.
The winner of the award will be announced shortly via an online video which will be simultaneously released through the media.
WCIT would like to thank all members and the four charities who joined us on such a fantastic evening, and to the Mercers who hosted us at their magnificent Hall.
“Our Company and its members should be proud of what we do in support of charity”
WCIT Master, Dr Stefan Fafinski.
