Professor Martyn Thomas, a world renowned expert on software engineering and cybersecurity, and the first WCIT Professor at Gresham College, is giving a series of 6 lectures examining the place of computing in modern society, and what we should hope will be its future. From pressing issues like cyber security threats to possible futures with driverless cars and intense automation, this series is hugely important and focuses on issues that affect the entire world. The lectures will also be available on video on our website and Youtube channel at a later date.
The lectures are free and registration is not necessary; the events are run on a "first come, first served" basis, so it is advisable to arrive a little early to ensure that you can get a seat. Doors will be opened half an hour before the start of each event.
