The Postal Museum (formerly the British Postal Museum & Archive) is a postal museum run by the Postal Heritage Trust. It began in 2004 as The British Postal Museum & Archive and opened in Central London as The Postal Museum on 28 July 2017.
The Postal Museum brings five centuries of communications history to life. The museum reveals the surprising and fascinating story of the first social network and takes the visitor through extraordinary collections of historical material available and enjoyable for all.
From interactive galleries to an immersive subterranean rail ride, modern research facilities to a wide-range of learning activities, the Postal Museum offers something for everyone, from all backgrounds and of all ages.
About the Tour
We will meet at 2:30 p.m. in the foyer of the Post Office Museum The museum takes about 2 hours to tour, including a ride on the underground railway, previously used to carry post around London.
