WCIT Information |

The Equality Committee invites all Liverymen, Freemen and Journeymen plus their guests to join us for a delightful evening in the presence of the Master, Lady Parmley, at the WCIT Hall. This event is a wonderful opportunity for all existing members to show off our small but beautifully formed hall to potential new members and learn more about why we are growing so fast and why our various members joined our Livery. The Equality Committee is dedicated to encouraging equality amongst the membership and ensuring that the members are truly representative of all sections of the IT industry and each member feels respected and able to give of their best. We have the honour in welcoming Freeman, Dr Nneka Abulokwe as our guest speaker. Nneka is one of the first black women to sit on the board of a top 5 European digital transformation organisation. Her career spans over twenty years, progressing to becoming an executive director in a €3.7 billion organisation. Nneka has pioneered
doctoral research in tech/digital governance and delivered large-scale, high profile projects in the public and private sectors in the UK, Europe, Asia and America. In recognition, she has received several professional awards, including two industry
fellowships. Nneka is now an independent consultant providing board advisory services and serves on several boards as a non-executive director.
