We are honoured to welcome our guest speaker for the 101st Business Lunch, Sergeant Johnson Beharry VC, of the 1st Battalion, Princess of Wales’s Royal Regiment. Johnson is a British Army soldier who, on 18th March 2005 was awarded the Victoria Cross, the highest military decoration for valour in the British and Commonwealth armed forces, for twice saving members of his unit from ambushes on 1st May and again on 11th June 2004 at Al-Amarah, Iraq.
The lunch will take place on the HQS Wellington. The Wellington is one of 13 Grimsby class warships built for service in the Commonwealth and Dependencies. In 1947 it was made available by the Admiralty and the Honourable Company of Master Mariners decided to buy her and
convert her to a floating Livery Hall.
