The Growth Tech Dinners are an opportunity for leading figures to discuss and debate, in a confidential manner, their views, expectations, issues or concerns for the near-term. The second in this series will be focused on FinTech and its impact on growing companies.
Trust and Security are critical considerations. The evening will provide an opportunity to hear the experiences of those involved, identify the key drivers which they believe will affect the growth of Fintech and to discuss the associated near-term issues this might have for IT. Wine and soft drinks will be provided.
The guest speakers will start the evening by providing context to the topic and giving their views on the opportunities and challenges. There will then follow an interactive debate which we expect to last around an hour.
Ed Hodges has been the Digital Director who set the strategy and built the teams to create: Tesco's Grocery and Clubcard apps; RBS's Business Banking app; Lloyds Bank’s SME division; and InAuth, a cyber security company monitoring trustworthiness.
Angus Dent is the founder and CEO of regulated lending firm ArchOver. The company is a peer-to- peer lending platform helping to change the way SMEs obtain the financing they require and the way investors gain a secure and favourable return. Previously he was CEO of a leading mobile messaging company.
The cost of attendance is £15.00 (Special Early Bird Price of £10 if booked before 1st October)
All profits from the event will be donated to the WCIT Charity.
