Annual Ladies’ Dinner
Friday, 8th Jul 2016 at 18:15 to Friday, 8th Jul 2016 at 22:00
Guildhall, Gresham Street, London EC2V 7HH

Guildhall has been the City powerhouse since the twelfth century. In an era when the Lord Mayor of London rivalled the monarch for influence and prestige, this was where he and the ruling merchant class held court, fine-tuned the laws and trading regulations that helped create London’s wealth.
Today, 800 years on, Guildhall is still home of the City of London Corporation and acts as a grand setting for the Lord Mayor to host glittering banquets on behalf of the City of London Corporation in honour of visiting Heads of State and other dignitaries, royal occasions, and receptions for major historical anniversaries.
Wendy Parmley is Panels Warden of WCIT and a governor and founding trustee of the Hammersmith Academy (a technology school jointly sponsored by WCIT and the Worshipful Company of Mercers). During 2014-15, as the consort of the Aldermanic Sheriff, Wendy Parmley had an important civic role in the City, supporting the Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress attending numerous functions and charity events during the shrieval year of office.
Wendy invites you to join her for an informal tour of Guildhall and dinner in the Members’ Dining Room where there will be the opportunity to learn more about the purpose and work of WCIT, a very modern livery company.
* Tickets are £80 and include a three course dinner with wine and an informal tour of Guildhall. *
We do hope that you would like to join us for an interesting evening with Wendy and also for the opportunity to network with senior female technology colleagues from across the industry.
All proceeds will go towards raising funds for the WCIT Charity and its work with Hammersmith Academy
