WCIT members have a huge variety of backgrounds. As well as IT professionals we also have academics, managers, entrepreneurs, lawyers, HR and marketing experts, all of whom have experience of the IT sector.
Their knowledge of the potential of IT, and how its selection and deployment should be approached and governed, is second to none; and the personal network of contacts can be a source of advice and guidance on many technical or business areas to help not-for-profit bodies get the best out of IT.
If you require some independent strategic level pro bono help for your IT project then please contact charity@wcit.org.uk and we can discuss if our membership could help directly.

Charity IT Association (CITA)
The WCIT Charity has teamed up with like-minded organisations to form the Charity IT Association (CITA) to help registered charities get the most from their IT.
CITA set out to create a simple, easy-to-consume entry point for charities to engage with the free, entirely independent, services and volunteers who were willing to help them to get more advantage from their IT. The vision is a world in which charities are able to harness the full potential of technology to increase their potential for good.
This offer is optimised for organisations turning over between £50k and £5m, and they are only able to assist UK registered charities.

IT4ARTS – Support for Arts Organisations
IT4Arts is a charitable initiative of WCIT. Through IT4Arts we help arts organisations make effective use of IT to connect with their audiences, share artistic content and run an efficient and sustainable organisation. We do this by providing regular researched workshops, provide pro bono advice from IT professionals and facilitate confidential peer advice between member organisations.
If your arts organisation is looking for help with its IT then please visit the IT4Arts website at www.it4arts.org.uk
