Professor Sandy Douglas

Date: 27/05/2010

It is with sadness that we announce the death of Professor Alexander Shafto Douglas CBE on 29 April, a few weeks before his 89th birthday.

Not only was Sandy a Past President of The British Computer Society, he was an early Liveryman and Chairman of one of the first Panels - the Community Panel - which led to the formation of iT4Communities.
