The Information Technologists' Company

The Information Technologists’ Company is co-sponsoring, with the Mercers’, a new-build secondary school in Hammersmith with a specialism in digital media and technology.

We will be governors of this innovative school and will have a major influence in shaping its specialist curriculum and learning environment ready for when the first students pass through the doors in September 2011.

The Academy will not only change the face, status and profile of our company and sector but more importantly it will change the lives and prospects of many future generations of young people.

Our school will be a place where every student matters, regardless of their ability, background or faith, and where pastoral concerns for students balance academic goals.

ITC faces a major challenge in setting up our £1 million endowment fund to safeguard the future needs of the school and this can only be done through the membership. We need the support and generosity of the members to help us reach our goal.

We are proud to have already raised the majority of funds from a minority of the company and are now seeking £400,000 from new donors. If just 400 members pledged £1,000 over three years – that’s under £30 per month – we would achieve our target straight away!

Applying Gift Aid is a simple way to increase your donation by allowing our charity to reclaim the tax on your gift. Higher rate tax payers who apply Gift Aid can claim back 18% of their gross donation on their Self Assessment Tax Return.
